Corpus Christi Feast Day
This year we took part in a special whole-school project in celebration of the Feast of Corpus Christi: “One Body, One Earth: Together We Care for Creation.”
This project links our Catholic faith with the important values of care, community, and sustainability. Inspired by the image of the Body of Christ, each class in our school created an eco-art mosaic piece using recycled and natural materials. Together, these pieces forms one large, symbolic ‘Body of Christ’ display—showing how every person, young and old, has a unique and important role in caring for God’s Earth.
Each year group focused on a different part of the Body of Christ and a theme related to creation care, such as helping hands, walking gently on the Earth, and seeing the beauty of nature. They worked together to create artwork using reused, repurposed, or natural items.
